Where to start if you are new to Jetski Fishing?

If you are wanting to start Jetski Fishing it can be a bit confusing and to be honest you are going to invest quite a bit of money into your new sport. You will need to do purchase a Jetski, do a Skippers course and possibly do a Radio Course. We can help you with these and then obviously you will want to learn how to fish from a Jetski either starting right at the beginning or just convert the knowledge you already have and apply it to Jetski Fishing. Jetski fishing just keeps growing!

Jetski Fishing is still a new and emerging sport in South Africa. With many anglers realising the ease of which Jetskis can be launched. You can be half way towards your favourite fishing spot before a larger boat can be taken off the trailer! Not to mention that you don't need crew most of the time!

As you may have already heard you will need to add VHF radio to your CAT D safety equipment. The VHF radio you buy must have DSC (Digital Selective Calling) which means the budget VHF radios will not pass the new SAMSA requirements. Read more on my Facebook page here or here

This Battery Bracket is designed to house the standard 18a 180cca Yamaha Jetski Battery.
